Blackstock, Eleanor L. (Haagenson)
Age 92 of St. Paul
Eleanor was born in Saint Paul, MN. She married Forrest Blackstock in 1948 and raised their family of 5 children. She was a dedicated and loving Mother, Grandma and Great Grandma. She will be forever missed by everyone who knew her. Preceded in death by husband, Forrest "Bud" Blackstock; parents, Helen and Roy Haagenson; sisters, Dorothy Malcolm, Shirley Renteria and Betty Watson; and grandson, Brandon Larsen. She was the devoted mother of Michael Blackstock, Robin (Steve) Anderson, Sandy (Randy) Larsen, Bruce Blackstock, and Mary Blackstock; grandmother of Lisa, Tim (Tammy), Dan (Amanda), Matt, April, Darla (Jim), David (Dana), and Brett (Amanda). Also survived by 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM on Friday, March 24 at the Church of St. Peter, 2600 N. Margaret St., North St. Paul. (Visitation 10:00 – 11:00 AM). A luncheon will follow in the church hall. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nuns and the staff at Little Sisters of the Poor for their care and compassion. Memorials preferred to Little Sisters of the Poor, St. Paul.
