Obituary of Kenneth Preston

Kenneth Preston, age 53 of Richmond, VA and formerly of Minnesota, spent his life serving his country. As an Aviation Sgt/Helicopter Expert in the U.S. Army, he took pride in duty, honor and family. Kenneth served multiple combat tours, domestic & abroad, & after 14 years of active duty, dedicated the remainder of his years to civil service. Kenneth is survived by his three children, Daniel, Neko, and Breanna Preston; one grandson, Kai Preston; his mother, Marilyn Preston; four siblings, Donald Preston, Scheri Sevenich, Colleen Wood, and Teresa Finlay. A visitation will be held from 9 – 10 AM Central Time, Friday, August 27, 2021 at Sandberg Funeral Home, 2593 7th Ave. E., North St. Paul, MN 55109 Live-streamed on this Facebook Page @ ILMKEN. https://www.facebook.com/ILMKEN An online funeral service will begin at 10:15 AM Central Time from his church, First Baptist Church of South Richmond, VA and will also be live streamed on this Facebook Page @ ILMKEN. Kenneth will be laid to rest with military honors at 12:30 PM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. There will be no live streaming of the graveside service at Fort Snelling.
