Obituary of Jean M. Cicchese

Jean M. Cicchese October 16, 2021 Jean Margaret Zangs was born on January 17, 1930 to Leo and Ila Zangs. She attended school in North St. Paul, Minnesota where she was class valedictorian. Jean met Joseph Cicchese in 1958 and they were married on April 4,1959. Their union was blessed with four sons: James (Jane), Jerome (Patrice), Joseph (Lynn) and John (Kristen). Joe and Jean were devoted grandparents to seven grandchildren: Mike (Marissa), Joseph (Brittany), Brittany, Aaron (Katie), Laurie (Brian), Johnathan (Kim) and Joseph (Jacqueline). Jean was thrilled to see the birth of six great grandchildren: Donovan, Annemarie, Hadley, Liam, Cecelia and Julia. Jean's seventh great grandchild, Hudson, arrived on the day Jean went to meet her Savior. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 53 years, Joseph, and her sister Marcella. She is survived by her sister Marianne (Donald) and many nieces and nephews. Jean was well known for her strong faith and love of her church community, Church of St. Peter. She loved music, was an avid watcher of Wheel of Fortune and the sports teams of Minnesota. Jean embroidered hundreds of dish towels for family and friends leaving them a sweet and simple reminder of her love and kindness. Mass of Christian burial at 12:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Church of St. Peter in North St. Paul, Minnesota. Memorials to Church of St. Peter preferred.
