Obituary of Woung Meng Lee

Woung Meng Lee 34, passed away on September 22, 2021 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was born February 27, 1987 in Yuba City, California to Yang and Lor. He is the youngest son, fourth child. He is survived by his parents, siblings Chance, Pa Dra, Ze, and Pa Thoua, along their respective spouses and his two nephews. Woung graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He worked in the restaurant service and was widely liked by his coworkers who, like his lifelong friends, became his second family and took care of him late in his life. Woung was a free spirit who only cared for the simple life. He enjoyed drawing and attending concerts. He shared a love of animals like his father and oldest brother. He was a wanderer at heart and was known to take spontaneous trips, visiting friends to bungee jump and going to the beach to surf. A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 9, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, at 2335 Edgerton St, Little Canada MN 55117. Viewing from 9am - 11, followed by the service. He will be laid to rest at Oakland Cemetery, 927 Jackson St, Saint Paul MN 55117 with his relatives.
