Obituary of Ione Eckert

Age 95 of Woodbury
Passed away peacefully Nov. 3, 2021

Preceded in death by loving husband of 75 years Arthur (Brud); parents Elmer & Rose Moline; grandson Darren Edlund; 7 siblings.  She will be greatly missed by her children, Margaret (Donald) Rice, Greg (Diane), Patrick (Laura), Duane (Joan); 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; many loving family & friends. Ione was a very kind and caring person to all. We will miss her humor, quick wit, and her usual goodbye phrase “hugs and kisses”. She enjoyed crafting and loved to read. Ione and Brud enjoyed traveling and dining out at their favorite restaurants. The family would like to thank New Perspectives-Woodbury and Brighton Hospice for their exceptional care of Ione. Hearts that are broken are hearts that have known love. Private Service will be held. Private Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
