Cecilia “Ceil” Marie Edwards
Age 92
After a long battle with Alzheimer’s, Ceil passed away peacefully on Friday November 19, 2021 in Maplewood, MN at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Edwards and son Cary Edwards. She is survived by her children, Jody Huemoeller (Dick Kirtland, Bryce/Holly and Brynn) and Kevin Edwards (Laura Mazhari, Mackenzie and Zakariya); her grandchildren Donald Jr., Joseph (Libby) and Nicholas; and great grandson Hendricks. Ceil was a long-time parishioner of Presentation of the BVM Church in Maplewood where she volunteered as a eucharist minister. She had a passion for helping others and her kindness had no bounds. She will be greatly missed by many. Special thanks to the staff at Ecumen Lakeview Commons in Maplewood, and Ecumen Hospice for taking such loving care of her. In lieu of flowers, donations to be sent to Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota - North Dakota Chapter. A private service and burial will be held.
