Obituary of Jerome Thomas Brimmer

Jerome “Jerry” Brimmer, loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2021, at the age of 62.  Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, William “Bill” and Joan Brimmer.  He is survived by his wife, Debby, and sons, Christopher (Jenna) and Nicholas Brimmer, and granddaughter, Gabby.  He is also survived by his brothers, Kenneth (Jaye) and Greg (Gayle) Brimmer, and sister, Karen (Jesse) Chartrand, as well as all their loving children.   

Jerry was a kind and thoughtful husband, father, and grandfather.  His happiest place was at his cabin and on his boat, spending time with loved ones.  Jerry was a skilled VW master technician.  He enjoyed teaching teenagers to SCUBA dive in the Grand Cayman Islands, and in addition, he travelled on dive trips to many places including, Micronesia, Guam, Mexico, and Lake Superior.  Jerry and Debby also enjoyed travelling out west by train.  If someone needed help with their car or other projects, they could reach out to Jerry and he would be there ready and willing.  Jerry was also a proud blood donor.  He touched many lives and will be greatly missed.   

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Transfiguration Catholic Church, 6113 15th St N, Oakdale, MN, on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 10:30 am with visitation for one hour prior.  Private inurnment at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 330 Exchange St, St. Paul, MN, or to Transfiguration Catholic Church.
