Passed away peacefully on March 15, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by husband, Glen; daughter, Joni Stanton; sister, Alice Nelson; and brother, Bob Kitzerow. She will be deeply missed by children, Cheryl (Tom) Bauman, Gail Garnett, Steve (Sue) Robbins, Judy (Denny) Gehler, Bill Robbins (Carla Miller), Mary (George) Butkovich; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Erma Saggau and Gwen Kitzerow; and many nieces and nephews. 

Esther was a pioneer, working full time at 3M for 20 years, while raising her family in White Bear Lake. She instilled strength, honesty, and a strong work ethic in her children. She will be remembered for her quick wit, contagious laughter, and compassionate spirit. Upon retirement she enjoyed year-round sunshine in northern Minnesota and southern Texas. She loved baking, sewing, bird watching, cards, and puzzles. Special thanks to her loving caregivers Kathy, Diane, and Dilli. Private service in May 2022.
