Obituary of Eugene Richard Lowry

Eugene "Gene" Richard Lowry passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 24, 2022, after a long and difficult two year battle with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). He will be missed by wife, Sandy Lowry; daughters, Sara Lowry, Erin Burnette (Eric Nielsen), and Jeanna Powell; son-in-law Joseph Powell; grandchildren, Brendan Henderson, Cammille Henderson, Evan Lowry-Simpson, Casey Burnette, Ethan Burnette, Seth Burnette, Joseph Tre Powell, Jocelyn Powell; siblings, Colleen (Jim) Handrahan, Mike (Mardell) Lowry, Don Lowry Jr; sister-in-law, Mari Lowry; many nieces and nephews, and special family James Burnette, Herman "Joe" Henderson and Johnny Simpson. Preceded in death by mother and father, Don and Helen Lowry; nephew, Andrew Lowry; and brother, Pat Lowry.

Gene loved hunting, fishing and spending time at the cabin with family. Always busy working on projects, walking in the woods, training and walking his dogs, watching sports on TV and going to watch his grandchildrens' activities. He will be missed by many both family and friends.

Memorial Service April 22, 2022 at Sandberg Funeral Home, 2593 E.7th Ave, North St Paul with a visitation to follow from 2-5 PM. Dinner following the visitation.
