Obituary of Joseph Anthony Berg, Sr.

Joseph Anthony Berg Sr. passed away peacefully at home on March 30, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.  During the days leading up to his death he was surrounded by family and friends. 

Joe is survived by his children, Rachel (John), Jaclyn (John), Joe Jr. (Nicole), Bria (Rob) and Aleah (Austin); grandchildren, Noah, Maia, Luke, Ashton, Raylan, Amarah and Maliyah; siblings, Carolyn (Don), Mary (Rob) and Dorothy (Don); former spouses and mothers of his children, Charlain and Barbara; lifelong friends, Jeff and Susan Nedblake; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Carl; mother, Phyllis; and siblings, Paula, Larry, and Carl. 

The family would like to thank Hospice of the Midwest and the VA Medical Center for their dedication in caring for Joe.   

Memorial Service at 12 Noon on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Sandberg Funeral Home (2593 E 7th Avenue, North Saint Paul) with a visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers or memorials, the family asks that you play a round of golf or do something you enjoy with the people you love.
