Obituary of Elizabeth Theresa Tuerk Riege

Elizabeth “Betty” Theresa Tuerk (Turk) Riege passed away following a stroke, on Friday, April 1, 2022 at Methodist Hospital, St. Louis Park, MN. Betty was 91 years old. She is preceded in death by husband, Edwin John Riege and is survived by her daughter, Susan (Robert) Brinkhaus; sister, Alice Jakupciak; 10 nieces and nephews and their families; 3 step-grandchildren and their families; cousins and friends. Betty and Ed lived in No. St. Paul for over 60 years, were members of Christ Lutheran Church, and active in the community. Betty worked for St. Paul and Suburban Bus Company, Minnesota Coaches, and several other bus companies owned by the Donald Regan family for 30 plus years and enjoyed every minute of her job. Her Christian burial service will be on Wednesday 4/13/22 at 1PM at Christ Lutheran Church (2475 17th Aven E, No. St. Paul) with a visitation 1 hour prior. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Mahtomedi, MN. Memorials preferred to Christ Lutheran Church and Seeing Eye.
