Obituary of Al Fox

Al Fox, of Oakdale MN, passed away unexpectedly on April 6, 2022 at the age of 69. He is preceded in death by parents, Bryce and Edna; and brother, Dr. Dwight. Survived by brothers, Dr. Kurt, and Herb (Ginny); and nieces & nephews, Greg, Ted, Leslie (Packy), Dani and Billy. 

Al was born in Grand Forks, ND and grew up in Little Canada and Shoreview.  He graduated from Kellogg High School and the University of Minnesota.  In addition to a career at 3M, Al worked in education and was an entrepreneur.  Al loved the outdoors and enjoyed canoeing, hiking, and skiing.  He volunteered as a math tutor helping many adults obtain their GED.  He will be greatly missed by family and friends. 

Memorial service 3pm on Monday, May 2nd at Sandberg Funeral Home (2593 E 7th Street, North St. Paul) with visitation beginning at 2pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to Harmony Learning Center GED Scholarship, Maplewood MN or Minnesota Land Trust.
