What a loss. I thought Rob was a bit “old school” when I met him but the more time I spent with him, the more I learned and appreciated the lessons he had to share. Rob was personally and professionally helpful to me. He couldn’t help but help. I am indebted to him. Of course, I enjoyed his stories. The one about dislocating his shoulder when he was turkey hunting is one of my favorites. I do think of laughter when I think of Rob. There was more than one occasion when I thought they’d ask us to leave one of our Joseph’s breakfast get-togethers. We got so loud! My prayers are with you…Pat Singel
Rob was a great man with my kind of humor. He was always available to talk to or to help out whenever he was needed. I know he loved his family deeply and offer my deepest condolences to them. He was a big factor in helping to get me sober years ago and I will be forever grateful to him. I got to talk to him several months ago, when he told me about his condition. We both had a chance to thank each other for our friendship and I did not realize it was going to be the last time we would talk. Sending hugs to family, Rob will surely be missed by all who knew him.
Remembering the first time I met your (Caise’s) dad at a gathering you had at your townhome. James was getting to know your mom and talking about Ireland and Whiskey and I look over and see Rob sitting in a corner by himself eating. Then and there I said, “This guy is my spirit animal.” He really seemed like a cool dude and I wish I could have gotten to know him better. Sending love, hugs and comfort to you and your family ❤️
