Obituary of Jeffrey Todd Reed

Jeffrey Reed, age 58 of Oakdale, MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 17th, 2022. Preceded in death by son Alexander, parents Wayne and Gloria Reed, nephew Trevor Buttermore, and other beloved family members and friends. Survived by wife of 32 years Shirley, son Matt (Amber), step-mother Barbara, sisters Kim (Robert) and Shannon, aunt and uncle Pat and Pudge, and granddaughter Victoria.  

Jeff was a Journeyman Pipefitter with Local 455 for over 30 years. He loved woodworking, helping friends and family with projects, and enjoyed biking (he always made sure to wear a helmet when going on bike trips with granddaughter, Victoria). Jeff, like his mom Gloria, was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and never lost faith that “this year is the year”. He loved big and when you were with him you were guaranteed to laugh. 

Join us for a gathering to celebrate Jeff’s life on Thursday, June 23rd, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Sandberg Funeral Home, 2593 7th Ave E, North St. Paul. Family and friends welcome to toast Jeff with a beer at Neumanns Bar, 2531 7th Ave E, North St. Paul, following the celebration of life from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
