Harold passed away peacefully on July 6, 2022 at his home in Maplewood, MN. Harold served in the Navy from 1950-1952 serving in the Korean War. He worked for United States Postal Service retiring in 1988. Harold spent his 34 years of retirement skiing at Afton Alps, fishing, and traveling. Harold was preceded in death by his son Steven Michael Pearl, his parents Delores Beste and Harold Pearl, Sr., his brothers Jack Pearl and Dick Pearl. Harold is survived by his wife of 72 years, Nona Pearl. He is also survived by his daughter Gwen (Richard) Schurmeier and Corey (Liz) Pearl; four grandchildren, Bridget (Rusty) Rud, Jennifer (David) Martin, Travis Pearl and Brent Pearl; five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Harold will be greatly missed. He left of us with many wonderful memories.
Our family would like to thank the staff at the Ecumen Assistant Living Facility where Harold lived for all the excellent care and kindness, they showed him.
A celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 21st at 1:00 p.m. in the community room on the 2nd floor at Ecumen Lakeview Commons, 1200 Lakewood Drive, Maplewood, MN.
