Obituary of Gary Lee West

Age 66 of St. Paul, passed away unexpectedly on August 24, 2022 of natural causes. He is preceded in death by parents, Paul and Anna West and brother Guy "Dudley" West. Gary lived a simple life filled with easy joys, such as watching wrestling and cooking. He had an unassuming and calming presence where he could often be seen in the background of gatherings with a shy smile and shoulder shake as he giggled a quiet little chuckle to himself.
Gary will be missed greatly by brother, Greg; sister, Peggy (Rick) Auchter; nephew, Steve Christianson Jr.; nieces, Sara (Dan) Hartzheim and Amanda West; great-nieces, Camille Mudd and Eliza Hartzheim; great-nephews, Bodi Slusher and Sebastian Hartzheim; and other friends and family.
The very recent loss of his brother and best friend broke his heart, and we hope they're resting in peace together.
Memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 1-3pm at 2375 Minnehaha Ave, Maplewood, MN 55119
