Obituary of Linda Marie Ashfield

Linda M. Ashfield (Sarner) 

Age 74, of North St. Paul, passed away September 6, 2022. Preceded in death by mother, Betty Sarner; father, Thorvald Sarner; and brother, Scott Sarner. Survived by brother, Craig Sarner. Linda graduated with a BA from Bemidji State University in 1970. She lived and worked in Germany for several years following graduation. Linda had a vast network of friends, and a loving family, including her husband of 46 years, George, three sons and six grandchildren. Son, Joseph McLain Ashfield (Susan); son, Michael Colin Ashfield (Amanda) with grandchildren, Quinn (5) and Willa (2); son, Philip James Ashfield (Cailin) with grandchildren, Brooks (13), Finley (11), McLain (9) and Collins (6). She loved travel, hiking and adventure, and we wish her Godspeed on her next journey. A celebration of life is planned for a later date.
