Obituary of Florence Louise Balluff (nee Frey)

Age 83 of Maplewood 

Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt passed away peacefully on September 19, 2022. She taught us how to live in faith and how to die with grace. She frequently shared 3 rules: 1) love your children, and then 2) love them, and then 3) love them some more. God bless us all. Floss will be deeply missed by family and friends. She was cared for by a devoted staff at the Shores of Lake Phalen and Interim. Preceded in death by her husband, Jack Balluff, and her sisters,  Joan Eastman and Barb Super. Survived by children, Mark, Dan, Rebecca (Dean) Jantz, Fr. Tom, Mary (Mike) Peltier; grandchildren, Jordan, Cheyenne (Reece), Duke (Kelsey), Jake, and Dylan; and brothers and sisters, Jerry Frey, Jack Frey, Mary Connelly (Frey), and brother-in-law, Gene Balluff. Ceremony at St. Mary Cemetery, Beardsley, MN, at 12:00 PM followed by lunch on Monday (9/26) and a Memorial Mass at St. John the Evangelist, 380 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN, at 11:00 AM on Thursday (9/29). In lieu of flowers, send memorials to your favorite charity.
