Obituary of Barbara E Freiling

Age 69 of Little Canada 

Formerly of St. Paul and White Bear Lake 

Surrounded by her family at home, Barbara went to be with her Lord on Dec. 10, 2022.  Born to Robert and Daisy Cherry, she graduated from Harding High School in 1970. Barbara worked at First Evangelical Free Church in Maplewood for 15+ years, as an Office Administrator and she was a longtime member there along with her family. She enjoyed her work, reading, and meeting new people. Barbara enjoyed traveling to Colorado, to visit her daughter and son-in-law. She was a loving mother and wife. 

Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas (Beverly) Cherry; and sister, Judith Serbus. Survived by her husband of 49 years, William; daughter, Krista (Luke) Towle; siblings, Patricia Rommel, Beatrice Emmons, James (Christine Christie) Cherry, Robert (Maribeth) Cherry, Marge (Eugene) Olson, Raymond (Jean Gintz) Cherry, Michael (Janice) Cherry, Linda (Daniel) Dege, and Richard (Jean) Cherry; brother-in-law, Thomas Serbus; and many nieces, nephews and friends. 

Funeral 11:00 AM Monday, Dec. 19, 2022 at First Evangelical Free Church, 2696 Hazelwood Street, Maplewood (visitation 10:00 – 11:00 AM). Memorials to a cancer charity of your choice.
