Joined her husband, Neil J. in heaven on January 1, 2023 and is now resting peacefully in our Saviors arms. Survived by her sisters, Betty and Barbara; daughters, Judy and Sandy; grandchildren; great grandchildren; her large extended family and many friends. Her joy in life was serving guests at the NJ Cafe in Bayport, which her and Neil ran together for 20 years. Sophie enjoyed playing cards, she blessed many with her beautiful singing voice and loved spending time with family and friends. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 11AM on Friday, January 13, 2023 at St. Michael's Church (611 Third Street South, Stillwater) with visitation one hour prior. Interment St. Michael's Cemetery, Bayport.
