I knew Jim from Nativity grade school. He was older and of course he didn’t have much time for a younger person. But Jim always said hi and was very nice and polite. I later caught up with him when we were both officers. We shared stories of the old days and who we remembered from school. I then had the privilege of working with Jim at the Law Enforcement program. We got to talk. I learned about his father during the battle of the bulge. He was so proud of his girls and always kept me up to date on all of their success. He will be missed. He had a heart of Gold and always willing to help. He helped many foster children and tried to set them on the right path. He is now with his beloved wife, Pam. God bless my friend you will be missed.

I have known Jim since 2nd grade at Nativity in St. Paul. I have great memories of Jim coming over to our house on Goodrich Ave. Jim's wife Pam and I served in the Sheriff's dept. for many years together. I'm going to miss a really great person, police officer and especially a FRIEND.
