Of Oakdale, MN passed away on March 2, 2023 at the age of 90. Don was born March 23, 1932 in Afton, MN to Emmett and Flora Berglund. He served in the US Navy for four years and was employed with 3M as a Process Engineer for 42 years. Don was a loving husband, father and grandfather with a sparkle for life that he brought to everything – from biking, boating and travel to woodworking and carving. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Roger.  He is survived by his loving wife, Laura; children, Judy (Brian) Erickson and Mark (Denise) Berglund; grandchildren, Alyssa (Adam), Danielle, Christina (Dan), Vanessa and Nicole; great grandchildren, Ben, Teddy and Elodie as well as beloved nieces, nephews and dear friends. The memorial service will be held on Monday, March 13 at 11AM at Lutheran Church of Peace, 47 S Century Ave with visitation one hour before the service; Interment at Union Cemetery, Maplewood. Memorials preferred to Alzheimer's Assoc. or Lutheran Church of Peace. Thank you to all the wonderful caregivers at Artis and the support from LCP.
