Isagani Munar

Obituary of Isagani Antonio Munar

Isagani "Izzy" or "Bong" touched the lives of many during his time on this earth. Born in Manila, Philippines, Isagani was the middle child of Concordia and Ignacio, and throughout his life, he cherished his role as a son, brother, uncle, and friend. He leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion, survived by his mother, six siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews, whom he adored.

Isagani dedicated over 25 years of his life to serving others as a flight attendant at Delta Airlines. His warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication endeared him to passengers and colleagues alike.

A devout Catholic, Isagani found solace and strength in his faith, even during the most challenging times. Despite battling cancer for several years, his spirit remained unbroken, and he faced each day with courage and grace. As his health deteriorated quickly near the end, he continued to inspire those around him with his unwavering faith and resilience.

On April 6, Isagani peacefully passed away in his home, surrounded by the love and support of his cherished friends and family. While he may no longer walk among us, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Isagani is now reunited with his father, Ignacio, his nephew, Christian, and Tita King in the arms of the divine. Though his presence will be deeply missed, his spirit will continue to inspire and guide those who were touched by his light.

In honor of Isagani's life, a visitation will be held on Monday, April 15 from 4-8pm at Sandberg Funeral Services, a celebration of life funeral service will take place at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 16 from 11-12pm preceded by a visitation at 10 am, followed by a luncheon.

May his soul find eternal rest, knowing that he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
