September 23, 1918 ~ September 6, 2013 NSP Highbridge Retiree Preceded in death by son Richard W., daughter Nancy, a sister & a brother. Survived by loving wife of 69 years, Martha; children William (Barbara) and Anita Fisher (Mike Frei); 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; a great great grandson; sister Marie Nelson (Richard), sister-in-law Helvi Ross, brother-in-law Alfred Lahti, nieces & nephews. Service Wednesday (9/11) at 11:00 AM at HAZEL PARK CONGREGATION UCC, 1831 East Minnehaha Avenue with visitation one hour before the service. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. The family would like to thank HealthEast Hospice caregivers especially Sonny & Sandy. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
