Myers, Robert W. (Bob) Age 74 of Spooner, WI (formerly of Oakdale & Hastings, MN; Tyrone, PA). Passed away on February 3, 2013 after a 19 year battle with carcinoid cancer. Preceded in death by his parents Nora B. (Stover) Myers & Robert S. Myers, Tyrone, PA; mother-in-law & father-in-law Gladys (Kjeldsen) Johnson & Howard J. Johnson, St. Paul, MN; granddaughter Sarah Beth Myers Berlin (17 years old), North St. Paul, MN (Grandpa's good friend). Survived by wife, best friend of 53 years, Phyllis C. (Johnson) Myers; children Scott (Kathy) Myers, Todd (Andrea) Myers, Sherry (Scott) Mattson, Laura (Jason) Berlin; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers Paul (Gail) Myers, John (Gail) Myers; sisters Catherine (Pete) Stringfellow, Judy (Dan) Reeder. Retired Police Officer for Hastings & Oakdale, MN. Past Commander of American Legion Post #39, North St. Paul, MN. Past President of MN A.A.U. & O.A.A. Girls Basketball. Founder and former Director of North-Tartan Girls Basketball Club. Memorial Service Thursday (2/7) 12:00 Noon at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment Union Cemetery.
