Obituary of Laurene D. Brown

(nee Sears) age 71 Of White Bear Lake formerly of St. Paul Crossed over on the wings of a butterfly on September 11, 2011 to join her parents Steve & Elizabeth Sears; brothers Ronald & Gary and sisters Maralene, Donna, Carol & Judy. She is survived by her cherished children Heidianne (Ron) Gaffney, David, Todd (Dhel), John (Amy) & Tim (Rae); 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren who all were the lights of her life. Also survived by brothers Leonard (Nancy), Steven, and Jerome (Gary Crowe); sisters-in-like Dolores Sears and Ruth Holden; devoted niece Lynnette Arbuckle and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. "Her illness was a heluva note that has now ended in a beautiful song". A special devotion and thank you to her son Todd who was our champion throughout her days of turmoil. Also a special nod of grace to Deacon Bob Bisciglia, Nurse Nancy, Aide Terry and the girls of mercy from HealthPartners Hospice Home Care, Bless all of you and our deepest heartfelt thanks. Mass of Christian Burial Friday (9/16) at 12:00 Noon at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 North Margaret Street, North St. Paul. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Mahtomedi. Visitation Thursday (9/15) from 4-8:00 PM with prayer service at 6:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Avenue, North St. Paul and one hour before the Mass on Friday at church. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to the family.
