Obituary of Pierce Leonard Powell

Beloved Husband, Father & Grandpa Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 18, 2012 at age 66. Preceded in death by sister Sharon; & in this past year, parents Carol & Charles. Survived by loving wife of 46 years, Merrie; beloved children James, Catherine (Richard) Hall; precious grandchildren Max & Courtney Hall; dear siblings Charlene, Barbara (Jim) Dow, Harold (Bev) & Wayne (Carla); mother-in-law Marcella Carroll; many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family & dear friends. Served in the US Army in Okinawa. Retired USPS after 26 years. Memorial Service Saturday (4/28) 11:00 AM at CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 11194 - 36th St. N, Lake Elmo. Gathering one hour prior & luncheon to follow. Private family interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the church. Special thanks to Glenda & staff at Woodwinds ICU.
