Obituary of Percy Wilson Davis

Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend of No. St. Paul, formerly of Roseville He was born March 12, 1917 and at the age of 96 completed his assignment on this earth, May 14, 2013. His family was at his side as he passed from this world and entered heaven to meet his Savior, Lord Jesus Christ. In heaven he was reunited with his parents, Willie and Emma, son, Ronald, grandson, Benjamin, infant great grandson, Gabriel and three great grand baby angels. Remaining on earth is his loving wife of 71 years, Audrey (Rounds), precious daughters Cheryl (Terry) Dinderman, Nancy (Ron) Brovold. He was the best Opa to his grandchildren and always said "they were joys of his life". His 7 grandchildren are, Christopher Dinderman, Janine (Don) Petros, Michael (Tina) Dinderman, Kristin (Kevin) Deml, 8 great grandchildren, Kyra (Mike Ames) Dolby, Davis and Jensen Petros, Jacob and Gabrielle Deml, Sophie and Riley Dinderman, lastly his great great granddaughter Bentley Grace. Also surviving him on earth is his sister, Marie Brackey, and sisters in law, Eudora Rounds and Joyce Osterkamp, nieces & nephews. He was a carpenter by trade for 30+ years with Carpenter's Local Union #87, and served his country proudly in the Army Air Corp. He always lent a hand and a hug to anyone that needed it. His passions were, fishing, gardening, cards, building things, Texas, traveling, teaching and just loving to be with his family and friends. He was the kind of man that made your life better just because he touched it. We will celebrate his spirit and life at a Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, May 20th, 2013, 11am at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 380 Roselawn, Maplewood, MN. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to mass at the church.
