Obituary of Dorothy M. Arko

Beloved Wife, Mom, Grandma Teacher - Age 89 - Maplewood Passed away 9/22. Born and raised in Plainview MN and longtime Bloomington educator. Community leader and volunteer, especially in her churches. Instrumental in developing programs within her school district and churches. Preceeded in death by husband of 56 years, Ray; parents and siblings, George, Delores, Henry Jr.; Survived by Children, Liz (Steve) Elicerio-Nelson and David; Grandchildren, Kristen, Katie, Mike, Lizzie; Brother, Elmer (LeEtta); Sister-in-law, Betty. Memorial Service Saturday (9/29) 11 AM at ST. MARK'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2499 Helen St., North St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior to service at church. Memorial preferred to St. Mark's Capital Fund Campaign, St. Mark's Foundation, or Plainview Immanuel Lutheran School.
