Obituary of Robert Tavernier

Beloved Husband, Father, Grandpa & Great Grandpa Age 87, passed away surrounded by family on May 10, 2012. Preceded in death by parents; brothers Klyce & Ray; and daughter-in-law Deborah. Survived by wife Ruth of 64 years; children Bob, Greg (Nancy), Marc (Kaye), Gary, Janet (Randy) Kloepper and Bill; grandchildren Bob, Mitch, David, Anne, Rick (Mindy), Julie (Kevin), Brad, Ashley (Aaron), Luke and Rebekah; great grandchildren Declan & Maya and many other relatives and friends. He was a proud WWII Naval Veteran, longtime employee of Northwestern Bell, active with The Pioneers and with Harding HS Alumni and an avid sportsman. Memorial service Saturday (5/19) at 7:00 PM at ST. MARK'S EV. LUTH. CHURCH, 2499 Helen St., North St. Paul (door 7W) with visitation one hour before the service. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred.
