Obituary of Shirley A. Lindabaur

(nee Montgomery) Age 93 of Oakdale Passed away 21 March 2011, born 29 October 1917. Married Eddie W. in North St. Paul 18 June 1938. Shirley was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and the "Young at Hearts Club". She loved her family, enjoyed needlework, playing cards, & especially giving away what she made. Shirley had a great talent for sewing/seamstress which she did from home. Preceded in death by her husband; her parents Tom & Josephine; brothers Gene & Merrill. Surviving are her daughters Sharon (late Richard) Ackerman (Ron), Oakdale, MN & Nancy (Ed) Brookman, Crest Hill, IL; grandchildren Scott (Kim), Brian (Rachel) Ackerman, Brenda Richert (Jim), Ed (Margarita), Ssgt. Derick (Amy) & Mike (Marcie) Brookman; 11 great grandchildren; brother-in-law Gilbert (Mildred) Lindabaur, River Falls, WI; 5 nieces, several cousins, many other relatives & friends. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10:00 AM at ST. THOMAS THE APOSTLE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2119 Stillwater Ave., St. Paul. Interment Union Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-8 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul, and one hour prior to Mass at church. Special thank you to Woodbury Estates & Woodbury Care Center.
