Obituary of Elaine M. Varin

Born 2/10/1935 Died 1/6/2013 Loving wife, mother and grandma. Attended St. Peters elementary school and graduated from North High School in North St. Paul. Preceded in death by parents, Florence and Albert; brother, Lee; sister, Fran; brother-in-law, Norby. Survived by loving and caring husband of 57 years, Onezime; children, Joy, Roy (Sue), Perry (Debbie), Larry, Leo (Claire) and Byron (Theresa); 16 grandchildren; sisters, Bernie, Bonnie, Sue, Judy and a wonderful sister-in-law, Deloris; special friend, Jo. Elaine was an avid square dancer in 10 different states. She loved to sew square dancing outfits for her husband, friends and herself. She was square dancing queen for her club in 2000-2001. Her grandchildren were her passion. Elaine and Onezime lived in Leesburg Florida for 5 winters before she developed health problems. She will be deeply missed by all. Memorial Service Monday (3/18) at 11:00 AM at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 Margaret Street, North St. Paul with visitation one hour before the mass.
