Beloved Husband, Dad & Grandpa ~ Age 74 Born May 5, 1936 in Mpls to Roy Preston & Helen Hansen. Died January 21, 2011 in Florida. Survived by wife of 50 years, Marilyn; children Colleen Wood, Scheri (Dwaine) Sevenich Peterson, Donald (Symmonie),Kenneth (Kieyesa), Teresa (Pete) Schwartz Stearns; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister Barbara Sorenson; brother Gerald; nieces, nephews, surrogate family & friends. Worked for 34 years at Progress Foundry, served in the US Marine Corps, was an avid reader, loved to travel and spend time with his family. Memorial Service Wednesday (2/2) 1:00 PM at HOUSE OF PRAYER LUTHERAN CHURCH, 6039 - 40th St. N, Oakdale. Visitation Tuesday 6-8 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
