Obituary of Earl Charles Motz

Age 83 Of Maplewood Passed away on August 17, 2012. Survived by wife of 61 years, Betty (Steffen); sons Mark, Jeffrey, Craig (Lisa), Terry (Vicky), Joel (Tricia) & daughter Julie (David) Berglund; 16 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; step-sister Maryadele Knudson; sisters-in-law Patricia Motz, Geri (Marvin) Bares & Beverly Ryan; many nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by parents Hilve (Johnson) & Otto; brother Gordon; great grandson Blake; step-father Richard Moss; step-sister Bonnie Erkkila; brother-in-law Donald Ryan; & nephew Steven Ryan. Earl retired from N.S.P. after 40 years and was a volunteer fireman for the Gladstone Fire Dept. for 21 years. Special thank you to Dr. Franklin Fleming, HealthPartners hospice nurse Martha, social worker Tim, Pastor Vance & the entire HealthPartners team. Funeral service Wednesday (8/22) 10:00 AM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 4 - 8 PM, and one hour prior to service.
