Obituary of Robert L. Vogel

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on August 17, 2013, at the age of 84. Born March 4, 1929, he is preceded in death by parents Herman and Martha. Survived by loving wife of 56 years, June; twin brother Roland (Delores); sister-in-law Jane (Don) Patock; and many nieces and nephews. Bob was in the liquor business for many years. Bob & Genes Bar, Vogels Lounge and Parkside Lounge. Bob was an outstanding athlete at Harding High School where he excelled in football, hockey and baseball. Bob was inducted into the Harding, Mancini's and MN Oldtimers Football Hall of Fames. A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Sandberg Funeral Home 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul. Visitation 9:30 AM, Service at 11:00 AM. Private family interment. A special thanks to all who cared for Bob.
