Obituary of Edith Grace Stottlemyer

nee Harkness ~ Of St. Paul, MN Beloved Mother & Grandmother Born October 1st, 1914 in St Paul. Wife of Hubert L. Stottlemyer (deceased) and mother of John (Janet) and Jeff (Jean); 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Edith is the last of 8 children, with many nieces and nephews. A lifetime member of VFW Post 1350-North St Paul, having served in Algiers and Naples with the WAC in WWII. Edith was a Staff Sergeant in the Adjutant General's Office of the Twelvth Air Force. She received the Bronze Star for meritorious service. Edith was an active volunteer at St Mark's Lutheran Church, Maplewood Senior Center and VFW Post 1350. Service Thursday (10/17) 11:00 AM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
