Korean War Veteran Age 79 - Formerly of Mahtomedi Of Amery, Wisconsin. Passed away June 2, 2012. Preceded in death by parents, grandson Romaine La Plante, sister LaVonne Gunderson and brother Roger La Plante. Survived by loving wife Barbara; children Jim (Emily), Joe, Jerry, Jon (Cheryl), Diane and Gayle (David) Johnson; brother Dick; sisters Sherry (Joe) Bernier, Renee (Will) Anderson; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Memorial Gathering Saturday (6/9) 3-7:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
