Obituary of Robert P. Newberry

Devoted Husband, Father Grandpa, Brother & Uncle Passed away peacefully on February 24, 2012 at the age of 75 years. Preceded in death by his wife Georgiann "Dod". Survived by children Lynn Brooks (Douglas), Jon (Andie) and Gretchen; grandchildren Patrick, Lauren & Brandon Brooks and Haley & Tyler Newberry; sisters Carol Dann & Eileen Richie (Skip). He will also be sadly missed by the McNeary, McIntyre, Lamb, Moran, Bakri & Merrill and Papenfuss families. Bob was a retired Actuary, traveler, avid historian, golfer, gardener and card player. Memorial Mass Saturday (3/3) 11:30 AM at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 Margaret Street, North St. Paul with visitation from 10:30 AM until the time of Mass. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, North St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. The family wishes to express our gratitude to Dod's family for their love, support and dedicated care, also to the staff of Bethel Care Center.
