Obituary of Earl Albert Hayes

Beloved Husband, Father, Grandpa, Great Grandpa ~ Age 85 Born October 21, 1925 at Pierz, MN to the late Walter & Martha (Koselka) Hayes. Passed away April 28, 2011. Preceded in death by parents; brothers Archie, Lester, Clarence & Loren; sisters Eulia Sween, Elsie Thompsen & Agnes Young. Survived by wife Myrtle; sons Dale Hayes of Sidney, MT, Dennis (Vickie) Hayes of St. Paul, MN, Keith Hayes of Ham Lake, MN; daughters Darlene (Daniel) Stegora of St. Paul, MN, LouAnn (Dennis) Derosier of Deer Park, WI & Bonnie (Bryan) Putney of St. Paul, MN; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother Lloyd Hayes of Little Falls, MN; many nieces, nephews & friends. Earl served in the Army during WWII, and worked at Whirlpool Corp. in St. Paul for 35 years until he retired in 1984 when the Corp closed. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling, walking and his retirement home in Tucson, AZ in the winter, where he enjoyed many special friends. Memorial Mass Saturday (4/30) 10:00 AM at PRESENTATION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1725 Kennard St., Maplewood, with visitation two hour prior to Mass. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
