Obituary of Sydney Knight

Beloved Mom, Grandma Great Grandma, Sister & Friend Age 89 of Mahtomedi formerly of Detroit Lakes. She ended her journey of life at Cerenity Care Center on September 19, 2011 surrounded by her family. Preceded in death by husband Dean, sister Inez, brothers-in-law Bud & Ed, sister-in-law Lee. Survived by daughters Pat Stabenow (Charles), Mary Churchill (Tim), Barb Christiansen (Gary), Cathy Schwarze (Steve) and Ann Leegard (Mike); 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers J.R. Stockstead, Robert Stockstead (Kay), John Black (Kay) and sister Jackie DeShaw; nieces, nephews and dear friends. Mass of Christian Burial Fri. (9/23) at 11:00 AM at ST. JUDE OF THE LAKE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 700 Mahtomedi Avenue, Mahtomedi with visitation one hour before the Mass. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or donors choice. Special thanks to Allina Hospice and the staff of White Bear Lake Cerenity Care Center.
