Obituary of Florence M. Welhaven

(Flaherty) Oldest of 13 Age 91 of Oakdale Passed away on August 17, 2013, in the home of her daughter where she lived for 13 years after returning from her retirement residence of 20 years in Weslaco, Tx. Preceded in death by husband of 32 years Ernie Welhaven, first husband Buss Hurley, parents, several siblings and many valued friends. Survived by daughter Barbara Reed; granddaughter Shannon Reed; several siblings, many nieces & nephews and several special devoted friends. Gathering time on Saturday (8/24) from 11AM until 1PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Avenue, North St. Paul with a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 PM Private interment Union Cemetery, Maplewood. A special thanks to her overnight caregiver Shirley Reed and the nurses, staff & caregivers at Allina In Home Hospice. Shannon & I could not have gotten through this without you.
