Obituary of Lois Mary Witzmann

Lois “Ma Witz” Witzmann, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was born and raised in St. Paul. She loved the Minnesota Twins and Vikings. She was an excellent cook and known for her spaghetti and chili. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and made it special for all those around her. She was a talented 500 player and always like to take the trick. She will be missed as a wonderful listener and kind soul. 

She could be found watering the plants in her assisted living home, reading romance novels, and doing flower arrangements. She loved to decorate and transferred this love to her 3 daughters. She enjoyed being a mother and reported it being her “favorite job.” 

She is survived by her children, Michelle (Scott), Lisa, and Christine; her grandchildren, Jacilyn (Don), Joseph, Nicole (Tim), Ashley (Victor), Anna (Brendan) and Andrew (Kara); her great grandchildren; Logan, Brayden, Nate, Devin, Kourtney, Shaelyn, Vivian, Myla, Junior, Jayden, Victoria and Everett. 

Memorial Service at 3 PM on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Sandberg Funeral Home (2593 E. 7th Av., No. St. Paul) with visitation one hour prior.
