Donny served in WWII from 1943-1945 as a Quartermaster on the U.S.S. Essex.
Donny was a longtime East Side businessman, operating Pinecrest Food Products for cafeterias at the 3M Chemolite plant, owning Fitch’s Coffee Shop in the Pioneer Building, the Fox & Hounds, Donny’s Supper Club, and the Sherwood Lounge (1976-1995). He was the First Prince of Soot on the 1970 Vulcan Crew and an avid golfer prior to his failing health, having been a member of Southview CC & Indian Hills Golf Club for many years.
Most important to Dad were his Faith, Family, & Friends. The family wants to thank the angels on this earth, especially Jessie Aarsvold, Taylor Bennet, and staff from St. Croix Hospice for their tender loving care.
