Obituary of Gerald John Bryse

Gerald “Jerry” Bryse 

November 29, 1942 – March 22, 2022 

Gerald John Bryse, Age 79 of North Saint Paul, died Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 2:07 this morning you gained your angel wings and left us heartbroken to go on without you. Thank you for letting us spend our time with you until your last breath. I’ll never forget your sassy and sarcastic attitude, your approximate nap time all our years growing up, and all your favorite yummy foodie places you and gram took us grandkids growing up! I’ll miss you forever and always. Thanks for all you've done in this life. No more suffering or pain, just rainbows, sunny days, and resting in peace. Fly high for us gramps. Jerry is the son of Ernest and Della. Jerry worked for Montgomery Ward, where he met Bonnie Galash. They were soon married, and remained married for 50+ years. Jerry worked at Sperry Univac and served in the U.S. Army. Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie; children, Cynthia Nelson, Charmin Higgins, and Brian Bryse; grandchildren, Stephanie Nelson, Marcus Higgins, and Kaylee & Brianna Hockbein Bryse; siblings, Roger, Jack (Sharon), and Pat (Rich) Ancel; along with many other family members and friends. Jerry will be truly missed, but remembered in our hearts. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, yet to be determined.
