Obituary of Eloise Dorothy Franklin

Age 84 of North St. Paul
went peacefully with our Lord on Tuesday, July 19th, 2022, and was surrounded by her husband Darwin (Ben), of 61 years, three children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was a kind and gracious wife to Ben, and a devoted mother to her children. Ellie was born on October 31, 1937, on the family farm in Parkers Prairie, MN. She was the second of five children to Lyle and Dorothy (Larson) Dawson.  Ellie spent her life in service to others by being an active member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, volunteering at the local food shelf, and serving as the Ladies Auxiliary leader at the Local VFW. She was a loving and doting Gma to her four granddaughters. She instilled in all whom she loved, her faith and trust in God, her love for all living things, and the ability to forgive. A memorial service will be held at Saint Marks Lutheran, North Saint Paul on Wednesday, August 3, 11:00am, with a gathering from 10:00am to 11:00am. After the ceremony there will be a procession to the cemetery, followed by a luncheon at the church.
