Our hearts are broken. 

Beloved husband, father, Papa, uncle, friend, coach. Pete died tragically on September 28, 2022 while working in St. Paul, the city he loved. SPRWS employee for 40+ years, he always answered the call when a water main broke. Those calls often interrupted or delayed his own family celebrations, yet he worked tirelessly to restore water service to residents and businesses. He mentored many colleagues and his mantra was “Do It Right”. In addition to his own daughters, he was a #girldad to many in the North St. Paul hockey and softball communities. He was a golf and hockey enthusiast, as well as avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed time with friends in a fishing boat or ice shack and spent many hours in the deer stand. Survived by wife Kristi; daughters, Holly (Mike), Hannah (Justin); granddaughters, Harper and Amelia; siblings, Laurene (Paul), TK (Jodi), Stephen (Catherine), Kathleen (Daniel); many nieces, nephews, cousins and Auntie. Visitation Friday, Oct. 7, 4pm-8pm at Sandberg Funeral Home, 2593 E 7th Ave, No.St.Paul. Mass of Christian Burial the following Friday, Oct. 14 at noon with visitation 1 hour prior at Church of St.Peter, 2900 Margaret St, No.St.Paul.  Memorials preferred to MN Conservation Volunteer.
