Obituary of Kathryn Arlene Griffin

Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandma 

Age 96, of Hugo 

Kathryn Griffin passed away on November 23, 2022, at her residence in a senior community. Kathryn was born on August 30, 1926, in Ottumwa, Iowa. Preceded in death by husband Robert (Bob) and parents, Pat, and Isabelle Rogers; siblings, Bill, Dick, Ben, Shirley, Clara Louise, Freddie, Michael, and brothers-in-law, Steve Sinnott, Bill Leahy; sisters-in-law, Donna Rogers, Beverly Rogers; and nephews, Leo Sinnott, Benny Rogers and Roger Sinnott. She is survived by her children, John (Michelle), James (Sue), Linda (Paul) Gresback, Paul (Jodi), & Bob (Brenda); grandchildren, Jennifer (Todd) Miller, Kelly (Justin) Erickson, Eric (Laura), Ryan (Jessica), Lindsey (Nels Nelsen), Benjamin (Kellie), Lee Gresback, Jacob, Jessica, Hannah, Haley & Maggie; & twelve great-grandchildren; siblings, Tisha Sinnott of Albia, IA, Pat D. Rogers (Ann) of Florida and sister-in laws, Darlene Rogers and Judy Rogers. Kathryn graduated from Albia High School in 1944 and attended nursing school at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Ottumwa, Iowa graduating in 1948. Kathryn and Bob were married on June 13, 1949, in Albia, Iowa, moved to St. Paul, Minnesota and lived in the St. Paul area since that time. Kathryn spent many fun years golfing at Indian Hills Golf Course and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren. 

Memorial service Tuesday, 12/6/22, 12:00 PM at Church of St. Peter, 2600 Margaret St., North St. Paul. Visitation one hour prior to Service at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Church of St. Peter or donor’s choice.
