Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Semotink

Elizabeth Ann (Auger) 

11/4/1932 - 12/16/2022 

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Preceded in death by her parents, Allen & Cecilia Auger; husband, Walter “Walt” Semotink; and brother, Joseph “Jack” Auger. 

Elizabeth was an independent woman. Working for the FBI in Washington D.C before returning home to Minnesota where she met and married Walter and started their family. She went back to work in 1984 for the ISD 622 until her retirement in 1997/1998. 

She was active in her community with the North St. Paul Lions Club & Historical Society. She also volunteered her time to the Assistance League of Minneapolis thrift store. She enjoyed gardening, decorating her home, and traveling to exotic destinations. She enjoyed entertaining her friends and family with good food, good drink, and conversations. 

She leaves behind her daughters, Susan (Dwayne) Postell, Amy (Jim) Arnt, Sarah, Julie (Tony Schullo), and Melissa (Ray) Schulte; grandchildren, Jacob, Alex, Ben, Cord, Alan, and Rachel; great-granddaughter, Kendra. She will be missed by those that knew and loved her. Rest in Peace, Mom, we love  you - “The Girls”. 

Mass of Christian burial at 11AM on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at the Church of St. Peter (2600 N. Margaret St, No. St. Paul) with visitation one hour prior.
