Obituary of Elaine Elizabeth Rudeen

Rudeen, Elaine E. 

Age 91 of Maplewood, MN, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2023, surrounded by her family.  

Elaine was born on June 8, 1931, to Anthony and Elizabeth DeBoer in Forest, WI. Elaine graduated from high school in 1949 and married Vernon Robert Rudeen on May 17, 1952. They had four children, Keith (Nancy) Rudeen, Kenneth (Debra) Rudeen, Donald (Denise) Rudeen, Sandy (Jim) Darst. Elanie had 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. 

Elaine worked as the head cook at Carver Elementary School for more than 20 years. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary VFW Post #1350 in North St. Paul. 

Elaine was predeceased by her husband Vernon. 

Services will be held at Lutheran Church of Peace, 47 South Centry Avenue in Maplewood on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 2:00 PM (visitation 1:00 - 2:00 PM). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Women of LCP.
