Jim Hannigan

Age 78, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2023, surrounded by family. Preceded in death by grandparents, Alfred & Maud Hannigan and Joe & Lucy Wieland; parents, Arnold & MaryLou Hannigan; and sister, Bonnie Schostek. Survived by wife, Laurie; daughter and son-in-law, Beckie & John; grandchildren, Lucy & Henry; nieces, nephew, cousins, and many friends. A 1963 graduate of Cretin and longtime employee of 3M. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, golfing, and time spent at his family cabin on Island Lake (since he was 14 years old). He was a proud Irishman. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rain fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand. A Celebration of Jim’s life will take place at the North St. Paul VFW from 1-5 PM on Sunday, August 27, 2023.
